The officers of the district NYI are the president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.
District NYI officers must be members of a local Church of the Nazarene within the bounds of the district at the time of their election, be active in local and district youth ministry, and be viewed as leaders in personal example and ministry.
District NYI officers serve without salary. Financing for the administrative expenses of district NYI officers is allocated as a part of the district NYI budget.
Should a district not yet have an organized NYI (no District NYI Convention), the district superintendent may appoint a district NYI president so that local churches may be assisted in reaching young people for Christ and in responding to their spiritual growth needs.
