The president of the District Nazarene Missions International shall serve without salary and shall be a member ex-officio of the district assembly. (201)

When paid assistants become necessary for the greater efficiency of the district administration, such persons, ministerial or lay, shall be nominated by the district superintendent, after having secured the written approval of the general superintendent in jurisdiction. They shall be elected by the District Advisory Board. The employment of such assistants shall be for no more than one year but may be renewed by recommendation of the district superintendent and the majority vote of the District Advisory Board. In case a district becomes officially disorganized, any church property that shall exist may in no way be diverted to other purposes, but shall pass to the control of The Church of the Nazarene, Inc., for the use of the denomination at large, as the General Assembly shall direct; and trustees holding property, or corporations created to hold property, for the disorganized district shall sell or dispose of the same only on the order and under the direction of the appointed agent of The Church of the Nazarene, Inc., and turn the funds over to such agent.
