To elect a District Ministerial Credentials Board of not fewer than five assigned ordained ministers, two of whom shall be the district superintendent and the district secretary, if ordained, to serve for four years and until their successors are elected and qualified. A district secretary who is a layperson serves as a non-voting member of the board. This board shall meet prior to the district assembly to consider all matters subject to its authority and, insofar as is possible, to complete its work prior to the district assembly. (229–231.10)
