Process
The District NYI Council establishes and publicizes the process for adapting and revising the district ministry plan, and must approve proposed revisions prior to their being brought to the District NYI Convention.
Proposed revisions to the district ministry plan must be distributed in written form to local NYI groups prior to the District NYI Convention.
Revisions must be approved by a two-thirds vote of all delegates and members present and voting at the District NYI Convention and are subject to the approval of the district superintendent and District Advisory Board.
All changes in the district ministry plan become effective no later than 60 days following the Convention. The revised document must be distributed in written form prior to taking effect.
